@numericcitizen really hope it works well, been itching to ditch Dropbox for a while...but yeah Iโ€™ll let other people be the test subjects on this one ๐Ÿ˜‚

@hutaffe this is how you get Ents

@hutaffe itโ€™s just sitting there thinking โ€œdamn, I evolved really well.โ€

@fgtech agreed. Iโ€™d happily pay more for an app if it ment no subscription. I think the โ€œone major versions worth of free upgradesโ€ is a good compromise. It works out similar to a subscription but you donโ€™t get money suddenly taken out of your account when you donโ€™t expect it.

@Bruce The more gaffa tape there is on somthing the more proffesional it is. Its a fact.

@jack Did you get the techno soundtrack stuck in your head for the day like I did. ๐Ÿ˜‚

@mcg itโ€™s forks all the way down.

@smokey I believe GNOME web aka Epiphany is based on WebKit. Seen it installed as the default on a few distros lately. Which is encouraging, though itโ€™s not quite as common as Firefox yet from what Iโ€™ve seen.

@hartlco Same, first few days were terrible now it seems absolutly fine. Wonder if its doing some calibration or something the first few days.

------------------------------------------------------------------

@AlanRalph Thatโ€™s irritating indeed. I wonder what benefit they think theyโ€™ll get from doing this?

@rosemaryorchard I did the same on my X. Use it a lot more now that its properly standardised across all the things.

@chet itโ€™s great for procrastinating tweaking away at the test blog ๐Ÿ˜‚. Really impressed at how flexible the themes are though.

@manton My Series 0 finally gave up the ghost after about 4 years of dutyfull serverice. Thought about repairing it but the always on screen on the new one tipped me over the edge. If it last as long i'll be very happy though.

@Cassinato thatโ€™s the one!

@manton Lil feature request. Noticed that you added a "create photos page" button to the pages settings. (Which is awesome.) Could you do the same for "Create archive page?" Mine stopped working for some reason, so I deleated it and now im not sure how to get it back. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

@skysandison cracking view!

@danielpunkass one thing Iโ€™ve noticed as Iโ€™ve gotten older is that I used to always think of โ€œsuccessโ€ as a permanent thing. Like one day you โ€œmake it.โ€ But after 12 years of freelancing I can say itโ€™s definitely more of a fluid thing. You can be on fire for a couple of months then be not so hot for the next. Keeps things interesting though. ๐Ÿ˜†

@becky just stumbled across this wandering around micro.blog. Nice idea for an app. Will give it a shot!

Replying to: bradbarrish @bradbarrish

@bradbarrish @ronguest Yeah its never quite as black and white as its made out to be... The games with casino style mechanics to keep you playing are a big part of the problem I think. Its a shame that a creativly promising market like mobile games have been taken over by this crap.
